Percussion



Born in Brussels on December 29 1973, Michel SEBA attended percussion lessons with Chris JORIS, Didier LABARRE, Diederik WISSELS and Frank MICHIELS at the Brussels Conservatory.

Performed in numerous concerts in Belgium and abroad and recorded with Diederik WISSELS, Chris JORIS Bihogo Quartet, Manu HERMIA, Steve HOUBEN (Panta Rhei), Ivan PADUART, Nut Factory and for few theatre pieces namely with Pirly ZURSTRASSEN, Erwin VANN, E 411 of Marc HEROUET, Pierre VAIANA's Un Poco loco
A.o he also accompanied Jean-Pierre CATOUL, Marcia MARIA, Pierre VAIANA, David LINX, Jean-Louis RASSINFOSSE, Eric LEGNINI, Fabien DEGRYSE, Michel HATZIGEORGIOU, Stéphane GALLAND, as well as singers Ilona CHALE, Pascal CHARPENTIER and Philippe LAFONTAINE.

Also participated in the traditional music group "TRIVELIN".

Is a member of "J.D.H. BAND", a latin Jazz group led by Jan DE HAAS,"BIHOGO", the quartet led by Chris JORIS, FOOFANGO with Pierre VAIANA, and "SLANG", a trio with François GARNY (bass) and Manu HERMIA (sax). They recorded the CDs "Los locos" (Carbon 7 046 and Save the Chilis Carbon 7 C7 062)

He recently played with the French organ player Eddy LOUISS and toured with the new tentet of drummer Félix SIMTAINE, TEN-TAMARRE.

Gave percussion workshops at Centre de Borzée, Brussels, at Rossignol and Arlon.
As well as private lessons.
